Join us on Friday, December 11, 2020, from 9-11 am, to explore quantum research developments with UW-Madison’s emerging engineers. Researchers Jason Kawasaki, Ying Wang, and Daniel Rhodes will discuss a variety of possibilities for enabling the future of quantum computing:

  • How can topological and magnetic materials be fabricated to integrate with common semiconductor substrates?
  • How can the unconventional properties of quantum materials be used to boost computational devices, data storage, and energy management?
  • How can processing control over quantum phenomena in novel 2D materials overcome the scalability, temperature, and fidelity challenges of quantum information science?

Explore these and other questions with our speakers in this 2-hour live event. 20-minute talks will be followed by Q&A. Register here to attend.

Our next series features three early career faculty with innovative research!
